This is a specialist itinerary giving the opportunity to observe up to 30 native animal species in their natural habitat; no other Australian itinerary can match this. Included are some species that are being rehabilitated after near extinction, such as Numbats, Bettongs, Bilbies and certain Wallaby species.
Some National Parks are included in our visits, but much of this wildlife will be observed in private locations. Visitors will get the opportunity to meet some outback Australians with overnight stays on sheep stations, and almost two days on Kangaroo Island. A short boat cruise on the Murray River is included, and the magnificent Flinders Ranges is yet another feature. We'll have a boat trip with an overnight stay on the unique Coorong, and many other unusual and interesting visits are part of this itinerary.
Mostly accommodated with a great variety of overnight stays. Several nights camped out, but a fully accommodated itinerary is available. Flora and fauna are expertly interpreted.

These Safaris feature visits to some of the John Wamsley--Established Earth Sanctuaries; Yookamurra in the mallee near Swan Reach, and Scotia in far western New South Wales, where you will see Australian animals living in the Australian bush as they used to do before the introduction of feral predators.
The sanctuaries are the homes of fascinating and sometimes rare Australian mammals and marsupials such as Bilbies and Bettongs, Kangaroos and Wallabies; Pademelons, Bandicoots and Quolls, Potoroos and Possums.
Daylight animals to look out for include the delightful little Numbat.
