(21 days in total including 4WD transfers) Returning through Flinders Ranges. Travel along part of   Cooper Creek, much of it containing water from 2011 flooding. Then the spectacular sand dunes, salt lakes, gibber plains and coolibah lined water courses of the deserts.

May 18th 17 Day Sturt Stoney Desert/Flinders Ranges Camel Expedition

(19 days total including 4WD transfers) Along gum lined creeks and across fascinating red gibber plains, before entering the northern outskirts of the Flinders Ranges. Travel south through the world’s largest and ruggedly beautiful semi desert mountain range, before arriving at Blinman - South Australia’s  highest town.

Including Flinders Ranges, Oodnadatta Track (optional flight over Lake Eyre) Dalhousie Springs (with a side visit to the Simpson Desert) ‘Arid Gold’ date farm, Alice Springs (2 nights, with optional balloon flight), 2 day base camp on central Australian cattle station (wildlife - fishing), Barkley tableland, Cape Crawford, Gulf of Carpentaria, Lawn Hill Gorge National Park to Mt Isa.
